Ashton Court mansion Outside tour

Join FAM on a tour around the outside of the mansion buildings, learning about the changes to the ‘Castle Court’ that once enclosed the medieval heart of the manor, and the Regency Gothic makeover which replaced windows of the Elizabethan manor, still visible at the back. The more well-known south and east facing buildings also include many changes that go back to the 1600s.
Dress for the weather on the day with shoes to cope on slopes, gravel paths & steps. We will try to adapt routes to people’s mobility. If the weather is bad we can adapt to an indoor tour.
