Summer Solstice Singing Walk at Ashton Court
See event details

A event held at Ashton Court on Sunday 21st June. The event starts at 18:00.

Join Julia Turner and Rachael Dadd for immersive singing walks at the solstices among the ancient oaks, park lands and woods of Ashton Court. Learn simple seasonal songs by ear to sing together as we walk, designed to nourish us for whatever point we are at in the year. Come together to foster a deeper connection to all that is the non human world as we turn through the seasons.

The theme of this walk is CELEBRATION! Let's find lots to celebrate about ourselves, others and nature as we reach this climax of light.
All voices welcome. Singing walks are primarily aimed at adults but babes in arms and children who can walk a mile (recommended 7+) are also welcome.
Meet by Ashton Court Mansion. See map https://what3words.com/scenes.papers.flows
PLEASE BRING a cup And a hot drink OR small snack to share if you can. When we say small e.g. one shop bought flapjack - no need to bake a whole tray of cakes or anything...unless you really want to :) We'll share what we have among us all.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
