An event held at Ashton Court on Sunday 8th November. The event starts at 13:30.
What might the world look like in 100 years, and what would you want to find there?
The Futures We Make is a hands-on creative workshop exploring possible futures through making. We'll start by imagining a future we'd like to inhabit, then design and create an artefact that might belong to that world, using recycled materials.
All materials are provided, but feel free to bring along anything you'd like to use in your creation. Children are welcome with adult supervision, and no previous making experience is needed.
We will be in the beautiful Ashton Court Mansion in the Small Lounge. There is a large carpark and accessible spaces.
The workshop is an invitation to start thinking beyond the future we're often told to expect, radically reimagine what might be possible, and consider how we can take an active role in shaping the worlds we want to live in.
