Chops Comedy Presents: Tom Rosenthal - Early Show at Bar 57
See event details

A event on Sunday 10th November. The event starts at 18:00.

Tom Rosenthal (Friday Night Dinner, Plebs, Drunk History) brings a preview of his upcoming tour to Bar 57 in Bedminster.

Tom is working on his show for next year and Chops Comedy is very excited to have him test it out at our venue.

The Arctic Monkeys' debut album, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, was released on January 23, 2006. It was a landmark moment for British indie rock, featuring a raw and energetic sound that captured the experience of young nightlife in northern England.

The record became the fastest-selling debut album in UK history at the time, moving over 360,000 copies in its first week. Tracks like "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" and "When the Sun Goes Down" became anthems, showcasing frontman Alex Turner's sharp lyrics and observational storytelling. Critics praised the album for its authenticity and vitality, solidifying the Arctic Monkeys as a prominent force in the British music scene.

Tom Rosenthal's fourth stand-up show, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I Am, gets a double preview in Bristol on xxx. The one hour set from the Friday night Dinner and Plebs star goes on sale on xxx and could easily fail to sell out. Jokes like 'Small Talk' 'Chat GPT' and 'Daniel Radcliffe' have been described as 'not quite there yet', posing the question of whether Tom Rosenthal will ever become a prominent force in the British stand-up scene.

Don't miss your chance to find out.
