Raised between England and France, singer-songwriter Brooke Sharkey conjures songs drawn from her well-travelled life, and the people and stories she encounters along the way. Having previously released two EPs and an album, her second album ‘Wandering Heart’ (2016) brought her to more widespread attention. In November 2016, she was featured in the Guardian’s Future 50, a selection of independent artists tipped for success. She produces her own music and collaborates with musicians based in and around East London.

Her idiosyncratic songwriting can be described as ‘an introspective sound adorned with emotional vocals and sliding string sections that create a tense air of melancholy that few others can master so simply and so elegantly, Brooke Sharkey oozes a creativity that radiates emotion.
