Oppo Comedy is Bristol's legendary new material night. It's been run by generations of up and coming Bristol comics, from Russell Howard and Jon Richardson, all the way through to more recent breakout acts like Morgan Rees and Abi Clarke. We get all sorts of comedy legends and legends-to-be coming to try their new jokes, supported by a roster of local talent. All that for three quid! Come on down! Doors at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.


Priya Hall is a stand up comedian and writer. She has featured on  Comedy Central Live (Comedy Central), BBC  Presents:  Stand up for Live Comedy (BBC One & Three), Live From Aberystwyth Pier (BBC One Wales and BBC Radio Wales), Fred At The Stand (BBC Radio 4), Machynlleth Comedy Showcase (BBC Radio Wales), Stand Yp (S4C).



Priya has also written and starred in a BBC 2 Wales pilot alongside Meera Syal, called Beena and Amrit and wrote and starred in a BBC Radio Wales sitcom by the same name. She has been a guest panellist on The Blame Game (BBC NI), Breaking the News (BBC Radio Scotland), and a team captain on What Just Happened? (BBC Radio Wales). She was a semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards 2021.



She has written on the revival of the BBC Three sitcom Bad Education, which is available on BBC iPlayer.
