In April Sarah and Millie will be running the London Marathon in memory of Sarah's dad, David, and are raising money for Foyle Hospice.
Towards the end of 2024, David was diagnosed with oesophageal/stomach cancer. Sadly, in February 2025, he passed away at the age of just 57.
He spent the last fortnight of his life in the Foyle Hospice, where he received the most incredible care and compassion. The staff there looked after David with such kindness and dignity and supported the whole family through an unimaginably difficult time.
To honour his memory and to give back to the people who made his final days peaceful and full of love, we're running the 2026 London Marathon to raise money for Foyle Hospice.
Every mile we run is for David and for all the families who will need the same care and comfort we received. Any donation, big or small, will help Foyle Hospice continue their vital work, providing compassion, dignity, and support to those facing life-limiting illness.
