Join us for a special evening of Middle Eastern food and live performances at Bristol’s Base Cafe on March 7th.
All proceeds will go directly to 18 displaced families in Gaza via the incredible All Our Relations, a charity that is transforming the lives of so many in crisis by providing them with the financial, organisational and emotional aid they need to rebuild their lives with dignity. We have a limited number of tickets that will include a carefully curated 3-course meal, inspired by the tastes of Palestine and Lebanon.
Menu (all vegan):
Zahra Bi'Laban- cauliflower and yoghurt stew
Lebanese tabbouleh
Yalangi- grape leaves stuffed with Bulgar
Zaataar hummus & pitas
Rose and fenugreek Hilbeh
Pistachio ice cream
Watermelon slices
Join us for a community dinner accompanied by ambient Arabic music from Will Cross, a performance by The Bristol Palestine Alliance Choir and DJ set from Lupa to see the night out. The evening will also feature a raffle of brilliant handmade and experiential prizes, including a massage, tarot reading, pizza vouchers, sound healing session, and one-of-a-kind works by local artists! Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening, with all profits directly supporting the cause.
Doors open at 6 pm
Food will be served from 7 pm
The event closes at 10.30 pm
In support of Palestinian families during these incredibly challenging times, we invite you to contribute generously. Our suggested donation is £25, and we warmly welcome larger contributions from those who are able. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to attend regardless of financial circumstances. If the cost is a barrier for you, please email us so we can help make alternative arrangements. Additionally, a few 'donate what you can' tickets will be available at the door on the night.
Now, more than ever, it is vital that we stand in solidarity. Let us unite and take decisive action during these critical times to help rebuild Gaza and the deserving lives within it.
