Tom Martin is a professional songwriter, singer and guitarist. Based in Bristol, he travels around the South (and occasionally further afield), playing his own takes on classic soul, folk, indie, and pop songs.

Alongside a powerful, soulful voice and a distinctive guitar style, he also plays a unique range of covers, from Otis Redding to Bon Iver and Ben Howard and from Craig David to Lionel Richie to Michael Kiwanuka. He calls himself, ‘the only acoustic covers singer who doesn’t do Ed Sheeran’, a nod to his desire to be one step to the left of what might be expected.
