Rory Charles @ The Taphouse at Beard and Sabre
See event details

A gig on Saturday 2nd October. The event starts at 21:00.

Rory Charles is the lead singer of Manchester based band The Age of Glass, known for their outlandish live shows, they have performed across the UK and Europe to an ecstatic reception. In his solo project, Rory swaps the sequins and synths for raw, honest song writing. Layered with piano and guitar, Rory’s other worldly vocals transcend the present, transporting audiences into a melodic reverie. At times soaringly beautiful and at times foot tappingly catchy, Rory stops audiences in their tracks when busking around Europe and further afield. Revelling in the informal nature of street performance and the broader spectrum of audience it offers. Rory has honed his craft through the natural barometer of then street. Regularly drawing crowds in their hundreds. Enveloping them in a serene, warm and stimulating atmosphere with his music and never failing to put smiles on faces, even on the dreariest of days.
