American West Country Bristol Blues at Beard & Sabre
See event details

A gig on Saturday 13th August. The event starts at 15:00.

Join us for a cider-fuelled hoedown at Beard & Sabre, where live American Country music takes centre stage for a Saturday party like never before.

Featuring the sweet sounds from Big Joe Bone, Texas Tick Fever and Trevor Babajack Steger.

"Big Joe Bone" plays a mix of fast, furious Delta Blues, Bluegrass,
Oldtime, Gospel and Hillbilly music with raspy vocals, hard driving
harmonica rhythms, bottleneck slide guitar on steel bodied guitars and
finger-picked 5 string banjos.....all held together by a very heavy stomping boot!

"Crafted in the Southern States, honed in the hills of Gloucestershire, Texas Tick Fever bring their
own brand of moonshine-fuelled hillbilly to y'all. Traditional and contemporary songs given the
backwoods treatment. These boys are getting toes tapping' and thighs slappin'
wherever they play on the roots music circuit"

“Perhaps best known as a founder member of the Multi-award winning band ‘Babajack’,
Trevor Babajack Steger has established himself as an accomplished solo performer. His
first solo album, ‘Sawdust Man’ reminds us how powerful a writer, musician and performer
he is. His second album confirmed his position as one of the
most exciting Blues musicians on the circuit today.”

And, of course, not forgetting our wondrous hopped cider to quench all of your thirsts and keep you smiling, jumping and celebrating! Sip a bit of the sunshine with Dolores, submerge yourself in pure apple freshness with Freya or get the best of it all with Idunn!
