An 18+ social event for people to share their love of rope bondage. Doors open at 13.30, and there will be an introduction to the space at 13.50. The room will be split into two areas, one for free tying and one for the taster class, which will be looking at compression. We will learn some simple ties that work on crunching the body forward. The class is beginner-friendly, but you will get more out of the class if you can already tie a single column tie as we will not spend a lot of time on this.
Participants are welcome to come solo, in pairs or groups. All learning constellations welcome as the teaching will be adapted accordingly.
There will be a large area for tying with beanbags around the edges for those that want to sit, observe and socialise. There are x4 hard points in the space that can be used for single-point suspensions. Any suspension work must take place after the taster class, and participants must get explicit permission from the host who will set the point up. Due to the layout we ask for only x2 points to be used at the same time so there is space for floor tying.
Please arrive by 13.50 to be introduced to the space rules. If you are going to be late there is a doorbell, but once the class has started you will have to wait until there is some free time to be let in. The venue is in an industrial estate with plenty of free parking on the weekend. The space can get cold in the Winter, so please wear plenty of layers to keep warm.
There are 17 steps leading up to the venue door. A chill-out area with a sofa will be available for anyone needing a quiet space during the jam. There is a kitchenette where some tea will be provided. Please bring your own mugs and snacks. There are two toilets located next to the studio space.
