Bristol Cycle Festival presents.....
THE CARNIVELO- the UK's only cycle carnival. Turn your bike into a carnival float, don your most incredible fancy dress costume, or just come as you are and join in the fun.
This year the procession leaves from The Big Top @ Creative Common at 12 midday. The route will be an easy short ride through the city centre along a marshalled route.
If you're feeling in need of inspiration, we're running Dress Up Your Bike sessions in the Big Top from 11.00 am.
Big Bike Spectacular
After we get back to the Big Top, Carnivelo will finish with a bang, at the Big Bike Spectacular. If you can't make the Carnivelo, join us at 1pm for a mix of party, village fete and school sports day.
The Big Bike Spectacular includes food from the Thali Cafe and Harts Bakery, a fully licenced bar, wild live music from Vamos, bikes to try from Lifecycle UK and Toddlebike, a bike jumble sale, a craft stall, face painting and more.
We'll also have games and competitions including long jump, high jump, bike-mounted egg and spoon and cargo bike racing. Join in or watch fun unfold. All games are free to enter.
