£10 suggested donation + Free & Pay It Forward Options

A event on Sunday 1st June. The event starts at 13:30.

Join Me, //Kabbo Hue Qua on thought provoking tours of central Bristol & its much revered Cultural Quarter focused around St Pauls and Stokes Croft.

The tour explores contemporary narratives, deepening our understanding of the unappreciated Afrikan & Caribbean contributions made, from a historical, cultural, political and economic perspective

"My focus is not to give a more rounded perspective of the different cultural contributions that have made Bristol the beautiful multicultural city it is today. People are always grateful and surprised by the interlinked stories that can be found in Bristol.”

Taking in Hew Locke’s cemetery sculptures, two of the iconic 7 Saints of St Pauls murals, and touching on the history of the Croft, dating back from the Civil war, to newer heritage, such as the founding of PRSC and, of course, Turbo Island.

The tour will start at 1.30pm and BIMM Bristol, straight after the Capoeira Session, and end at 3.15pm at The Canteen on Stokes Croft.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
