ALFI

Multi-award winning band Alfi perform a hybrid of traditional Irish and Appalachian old-time music and song on a unique line-up of harp, uilleann pipes and five-string banjo. Upon releasing their EP Wolves in the Woods in 2019 to great critical acclaim, the trio have been nominated as 'Best Emerging Artist' at the 2019 RTE Folk Awards and winners of the US Embassy Creative Minds Award (2020).
"Alfi, a band equally comfortable with Irish traditional material and American old-time, demonstrate the stunning, understated beautyof this nuance on their rendering of ‘Farewell to
Trion’"
- The Bluegrass Situation (USA)

"All three are virtuoso musicians and music graduates - examples of the new breed of young Irish musicians who are asserting themselves on the live scene"
- The Lonesome Highway
