Made in Bonnington presents: BioBlitz and lunch at Bonnington Walk Community Building
free event

A event on Thursday 21st August. The event starts at 11:00.

Join artists Charli Clark and Sylvia Rimat to discover, record and celebrate the diversity of Bonnington Walk's community garden.

The BioBlitz will be led by Avon and Wildlife Trust ecologist Eric Swithinbank, known in the community for his brilliant work with Really Wild Lockleaze. We will be using the iNaturalist App, which is fantastic at suggesting plant species and wildlife and at logging it on site.

A free lunch will be provided towards the end of the BioBlitz. You are invited to sit down and eat with us and chat about your experiences and Lockleaze wildlife stories!

Meet at: Community Building and Garden just off Landseer/ Merryweather Avenue, Lockleaze, Bristol, BS7 7FQ

Age recommendation: 8+

What to bring:
Please wear sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing for being outside for most of the event. If you can, please bring a fully charged smartphone and download the iNaturalist App before the event (other options avaliable for those without a smartphone).

Access: The Community Building is on ground level and there's access to a bathroom/ toilet. Please contact us with any access requirements or dietary/ allergy information so that we can accommodate you (e-mail: [email protected]). Vegetarian and vegan options will be available.
