Join us for a BASS-infused ecstatic dance journey with ONEFLOW and live drumming from RHYTHM RANGER.

ONEFLOW will be playing a multi-genre DJ set with extra servings of bassy beats (think house/disco/drum&bass/breakbeat etc.), alongside a range of music styles from medicine music to downtempo to tribal drums and more. Celebrate and honour the fullness of life through dance!

What is ecstatic dance? - Ecstatic dance is a dance/movement practice to explore the feeling of moving your body freely to music. You are invited to move, play, connect, release and express. The DJ weaves the music journey through a range of tempos and styles of music, yet the space itself is co-created by the whole group, where your unique dance and expression is valued. Be true to yourself, move your body and unleash the wild dancing self. Ecstatic dance is a sober practice - no alcohol or drugs.

This is a place to move with all the diverse parts of us which make us human, from feelings of joy to sadness to hope and beyond. Claim your freedom, open your heart & feel the music!

Ecstatic dance guidelines:
- Be Free – dance how you want, be free and express yourself
- Be sober – no intoxicants
- Be embodied – no talking (plenty of time for chat before/after the dance)
- Be present – no phones, no cameras
- Be barefoot – no outside shoes (socks are ok)
- Be consensual – respect boundaries and space, if it’s not a clear ‘yes’, it’s a ‘no’

6.45pm - 10pm
Doors open at 6.45pm. Please arrive no later than 7.15pm, no entry after this time. This is to respect the opening circle and ensure dancers are not disturbed.

Event schedule
- 6.45pm - Arrival, settling in, social time
- 7.15pm - Opening circle
- 7.30pm - Ecstatic dance journey (ONEFLOW, with live drumming from RHYTHM RANGER)
- 9.30pm – Closing circle
- 9.45pm – Open social time and hangout (until 10.30pm)

--- WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING? ---
Water/bottle to stay hydrated
Clothing – bring extra layers you can put on or take off depending if you get hot/cold. The venue can get a bit chilly at times, so bring warm layers. Loose-fitting clothing is best for dancing.
Earplugs if you have sensitivity to loud music/want to protect your ears
Snacks/food if you tend to get hungry.
