After months of grafting through the winter wind and rain, we’re beyond thrilled to bring something truly special to Bristol’s wellness scene…Introducing Stone & Steam Wild Spa — a beautifully hand-crafted, wood-fired, mobile sauna with space for up to 20 people, made with love, local materials, and plenty of sweat equity. This is more than a sauna; it’s a roaming sanctuary designed to help people reconnect — with their bodies, with nature, and with each other.
Join us on Sunday, June 15th for a joy-filled launch party celebrating the power of heat, music, and community at the much-loved Bridge Farm in East Bristol.
What’s On:
Unlimited access to the Wild Spa from 12 noon–10pm
Live music from 2pm onwards, courtesy of the eclectic solar powered Mojo Mobile sound system- a platform for local musical talent
Mouth-watering, wood-fired pizzas served up by the incredible Dancing Dough
Chill-out zones, refreshments, wildflower meadows, fires and open skies — all set in one of Bristol’s cherished urban green spaces
About Stone & Steam
Founded by local wellbeing worker and sauna host Katie Green, Stone & Steam Wild Spa was born out of a passion for sauna culture, community wellness, and a deep respect for nature. Katie’s journey has taken her from grassroots mental health work to exploring global bathing traditions — and now, to building her very own sauna.
This spa has been designed with quality, inclusivity and sustainability at its heart. From themed sessions and LGBTQ+ inclusivity to off-grid functionality and eco-friendly build choices, this is wellness done differently.
Why It Matters
All profits from this launch event go directly to support Bridge Farm, helping to preserve and regenerate this vital community green space. If the event is a success, Stone & Steam hopes to offer regular sauna sessions at Bridge Farm — bringing warmth, connection and affordable wellness to East Bristol all year round.

We’ve kept prices as accessible as possible to make this a truly inclusive event. Every full-price ticket helps fund a reduced-price spot for someone on a low income. By booking your place, you’re not only investing in your wellbeing — you’re supporting local community and green space too.
