@ orange.peal presents

Exactly 20 years after its release, Boards of Canada’s typically atypical take on ‘guitar music’ will receive a full playthrough at Bridge Farm, Easton, alongside an all star musical cast and seasonal sustenance and suppage, all raising vital funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians.

Doors - 1830

Sid Man - DJ set
Franny and Zooey - live, experimental americana 5 piece
Boards of Canada - 'The Campfire Headphase' complete album playthrough
Alicia - DJ set
+ Fresh, delicious seasonal food and drink

---

A hypnotic, sunbaked slab of brilliance unfolding in just over 61 blue-green minutes, The Campfire Headphase soundtracks the perceptual fragmentation of a character gazing ever deeper into the pulsing embers of an acid-blush campfire. Serving as a divisive counterpoint to the rest of their more analogue catalogue, it nonetheless induces their characteristic nostalgia - frayed sonics, serene melodies, and snatched sampling colliding in an eerie whirl of timeless warmth.

Whilst we can’t guarantee any sort of temporal meltdown we can guarantee delicious, affordable GF veggie + vegan food, a very reasonable locally sourced bar, the eternal warmth of fire, and a hot boozy apple brew to boot - all cradled by the cobbled enchantment of the beautiful Bridge Farm.

This in addition to a sterling musical line-up, with Bristol band Franny and Zooey serving their inimitable blend of hazy Americana alongside a hearty helping of musical delights from DJ’s Sid Man and Alicia respectively.

All profits from the night will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians, who work across Gaza, Palestine, and in Lebanese refugee camps to provide vital care for victims of the ongoing Israeli genocide.

In sum then - a perfect excuse to get together and make merry, to stave off the deepening chill by holding close the warmth of sharing in what really matters. And word has it there may even be sparklers too…

FFO: Slayer, Martin Garrix, 6ix9ine

Franny and Zooey (Improvs Greatest Hits) @frannyandzooeey

Local 5 piece running zonked soundbaths in memory of country and kosmische, acid soaked earworms for part time cowboys and full time bar flies alike. The molten twilight of the American Midwest transceived in real time by five supernally resonant beings. FFO: Ry Cooder, Tom Waits, Ennio Morricone

Alicia (Terra Obscura, Kindred, Fever AM) @alicia_ajs

Weaving worlds of ticklish timbre, fluid forms assemble and recompose, pulse and flux at the hands of Alicia, a DJ and producer deftly painting sonic narratives with dub bronzed ambient, fermented agua techno, and everything in between. Spectral portraits of spatial affect. FFO: Ormside Projects

Sid Man (3 Swords Republic) @_man_sid_

Chieftain of the 3 Swords Republic, Sid Man brings an astute ear for the arcane, combining a deep, diverse bag of records with blends of a near supernatural lyricism, summoning forth forgotten visions of lost futures past. Acid robot cowboy dreamland manifest. FFO: Rome Total War 2
