The Mutt Gala at Bristol Aquarium
See event details

A event on Friday 17th November. The event starts at 18:00.

Bristol Animal Rescue Centre is pleased to announce The Mutt Gala, an art exhibition and auction displaying one-of-a-kind paintings from some of Bristol Animal Rescue Centre’s finest animal artists.

Doggy painting is an activity we love to do with dogs here at the Rescue Centre as part of their enrichment activities with us – it helps them bond with their carers and learn that humans can be fun.

Our dogs have been hard at work creating some beautiful artworks which we are proud to share with the world. We’re teaming up with Auctioneum to host an evening that we hope will put the ‘fun’ into fundraising!

All proceeds from the sale of these paintings will go towards caring for Bristol’s vulnerable animals, both here at the Rescue Centre and at our Outreach Clinics in the community.

The theme for these artworks is ‘Diamond in the Ruff’. From self paw-traits to musings on the hamster wheel, to considerations of ‘life not being ferret at all’ there is a real treat for all. ‘Diamond in the Ruff’ highlights the importance of home as an influence throughout the different artists’ lives.

We invite you to join us for a unique experience, where you’ll have the opportunity to view all the paintings and purchase some one-of-a-kind animal art of your own. Plus there’ll be drinks from Bristol Beer Factory available to purchase on the night, with all proceeds going towards caring for Bristol’s vulnerable animals.
