Inkubus Sukkubus formed in the summer of 1989 when Tony McKormack, Candia Ridley and Adam Henderson met at college studying graphic design. They shared an interest in paganism, witchcraft and vampirism as well as making original music from an early age, and so the type of band that was to emerge from the joining of forces was, quite naturally, an expression of this.
The live experience is part of the Inkies’ raison d’etre, and they have performed at festivals, clubs and theatres across the world, including countless shows in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Holland, Belgium, France, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Russia, Lithuania, Finland, USA, Mexico, and Australia.
Inkubus Sukkubus are releasing their 20th studio album called 'Barrow Wake' on Monday, June 20.
