10 years on from their last appearance in Bristol at The Full Moon, Old-School Death Metal pioneers, Vital Remains bring their anti-Christian style of death metal back to Bristol, this time to The Bierkeller. Following the release of 2003's Dechristianize, arguably one of the greatest death metal albums ever and 2007's Icons of Evil, Vital Remains have secured themselves within the death metal underground as band not to be missed live.
Since their formation in 1989, Vital Remains have inspired countless bands and have an extensive discography of 6 full length albums, 4 demos, a split, a compilation and a live DVD. They have also toured extensively worldwide including appearances at major festivals. Vital Remains have had notable members over the years including Glen Benton (Deicide), Dave Suzuki, Tony Lazaro, former head of the Satanic Temple, Brian Werner and live session Tim Yeung (Hate Eternal, Morbid Angel, Decrepit Birth, Divine Heresy and a ton of other bands as a live session member). Any fans of underground death metal will not be disappointed.
