A gig on Saturday 15th June. The event starts at 20:00.

Viva Vivaldi! A glorious evening of music from Vivaldi's Venice in the beautiful setting of Bristol Cathedral with Bristol Choral Society under conductor Adrian Partington.

The Venetian vitality of the famous setting of the Gloria is set in the context of other musical gems written for the orphans of the Ospedale della Piet - a tender, impassioned Kyrie (RV 587) and the glorious double-choir and double-orchestra Dixit Dominus (RV 594).

Completing this feast of vivacious Vivaldi, Roger Huckle and the Bristol Ensemble perform a seasonal offering from his most famous work with'summer' from The Four Seasons.

Tickets: £22, £17, £14, £10 (under 25s £5, OAPs 10% discount) are available from Colston Hall box office in person or by phone (0117 922 3686), online via http://www.bristolchoral.co.uk or on the door at the Cathedral on concert night.
