Inspired by actual events that took place during the reign of King Louis XV, The Brotherhood of the Wolf revisits one of the rare French legends, that saw the mysterious "Beast of Gevaudan" kill a number of people during the 1760s.

Despatched by the Royal Court to find this mysterious beast, naturalist and hunter Gregoire de Fronsac (Samuel Le Bihan) and his Mohawk Indian companion Mani (martial arts star Mark Dacascos) find themselves in Gevauden where they face animosity from the more influential people of the region as they begin to investigate the mysterious killings.

Also starring Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassell, the film became a cult hit due to its martial arts-infused swashbuckling fight scenes, terrifying animatronics from the Jim Henson’s Creature Shop and some of the sexiest editing ever committed to screen (you’ll see what we mean).

We’ll be screening the film's 4K restored Director's Cut that premiered in the Official Selection of 2022 Cannes Film Festival.

This film will be shown in its original French language with English subtitles
