The Cary Comes Home Festival returns from 27-29 November 2026 with our most ambitious edition yet, bringing together three days of screenings, talks, music and special events celebrating the life, legacy and stardom of Bristol-born Cary Grant. This carefully curated weekend of cinema and conversation, includes four events each day and a vibrant atmosphere throughout.

10.30am – The Eagle and the Hawk (dir. Bayard Veiller, 1933)
2pm – Wings in the Dark (dir. James Flood, 1935)
4pm – I Was a Male War Bride (dir. Howard Hawks, 1949)
7.15pm – Only Angels Have Wings (dir. Howard Hawks, 1939)
SUNDAY: (Cary Goes "East")
Co-curated with Made on the Moon Festival and Dr Xin Peng (University of Cambridge), this day explores Hollywood representation of Asia and South East Asia
10.30am – Destination Tokyo (dir. , 1943)
2pm – Singapore Sue (1932), plus panel discussion
4pm – Mystery film to be revealed soon (we're awaiting final confirmation of the rights!)
