Another pairing of Short & Feature, 'Circle of Life' leads the way, shedding new light on the lifespan of one female Green Sea Turtle, witnessing the challenges and triumphs that define her existence. This will be followed by our Feature Film screening, 'Giants Rising', which will take us soaring upward into the highest canopies of the American Redwood forests.

Circle of Life (22m): Tom Park
Circle of Life is an ocean based documentary that follows the extraordinary story of one Green Sea Turtle and her journey through life. From her inaugural breath, this story follows her through the vibrant coral gardens of The Southern Great Barrier Reef, across the globe, witnessing the challenges and triumphs that define her existence. Through her remarkable story we get a glimpse into one of nature’s most incredible journeys.

Giants Rising (82m): Lisa Landers
Revealing the secrets and saga of America’s most iconic trees, GIANTS RISING tells the epic tale of the redwoods. The tallest and some of the oldest living beings on Earth, these trees are living links to the past. But they also hold powers that could impact our future. Through the voices of scientists, artists, Native people and others, the film reveals the wonder and plight of these awe-inspiring forests, offering insights that could help sustain us all.
