Schooled by Dario Argento and Terry Gilliam, Michele Soavi swaps subtly for blood-splattered chaos with his directorial debut that features some of the most graphic and entertaining kills ever to be found in the slasher genre!

When a masked killer infiltrates a group of actors who are spending the night in an isolated theatre rehearsing their terrible musical about the fictional Night Owl killer. However when an insane actor, who previously went on a killing spree, escapes from a nearby mental hospital, the actors are going to have to put all their training to the test if they are going to survive the night. 

Featuring an abundance of over-the-top kills and spills, and shot with Soavi's typical style, Stagefright is a blood-soaked performance that is almost certain to elicit a standing ovation.
