In Southern Bangladesh, wild elephants trapped by the world's largest refugee camp are forced into local farmland in a desperate search for food, fueling a tense three-way stand-off between Rohingya refugees, Bengalis and indigenous farmers. The camp built in 2017 to shelter nearly a million Rohingya refugees fleeing ethnic cleansing in Myanmar unknowingly blocked the elephants' last migratory corridor. Now a refugee, a farmer, a forest ranger and a shrinking elephant population are locked in an impossible fight for land, freedom and a place to call home.
