'Feel Inspired 1' Wildlife Film Screening + Q&A at Bristol Megascreen

A event on Tuesday 15th October. The event starts at 18:30.

Join us for 'Feel Inspired 1' + Q&A as part of Wildscreen Festival’s Official Selection public screenings.

The first of our Feel Inspired blocks, feature film 'Among The Wolves' and Short Film 'Hope Restored' both in their different ways chronicle some of humanities more remarkable interactions with nature.

Hope Restored (13m): Maarten van Rouveroy
Science predicts corals are doomed in the ocean of the future. But an example from Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean provides a glimmer of hope.

Among The Wolves (81m): Tanguy Dumortier, Olivier Larrey
Two artists pursue a dream: to share a year in the life of a group of wild wolves.

To achieve this, Yves the painter and Olivier the photographer do not try to run after the pack, but they are waiting for it in the right place: on the lookout in a hut of a few square meters, somewhere in the no man's land between Finland and Russia.

From winter to autumn, they remain practically motionless and silent for entire weeks. An essential patience first to apprehend the territory of the wolves. Then to admire the pack and identify each individual. And finally to question the relationship between our species and the large predators, both objects of ancestral fears and essential actors in the nature of tomorrow.
