Join us for ‘The Last of the Whale Shark’ as part of Wildscreen Festival’s Official Selection public screenings.
Join us for the World Premiere of the films produced through the Edge of Nature: Short Film Fund. Over the last year, four talented, emerging natural world storytelling teams have been creating fresh, out-of-the-box stories aimed to engage GenZ audiences and spotlight EDGE species and habitats.
Meet the filmmakers who are producing films outside of the typical natural history box. In partnership with On the Edge and supported through the Edge of Nature: Short Film Fund, a group of incredible emerging filmmakers make their mark on the wildlife filmmaking map with their fresh take on telling nature's stories. Think drag queens, drama, long-distance romances, comedy and more - these directors are ones to watch.
Speakers: Myles Storey, Tania Ãlvarez Escobar, Will Clothier, Nikki Tan, Bambby Cheuk, Evangelista Wan
These short films are guaranteed to inspire, transport and make you think differently about how we connect new audiences with nature through storytelling.
