The Square Club Tuesday 17th March 2020 6:30 - 7:30pm FREE Poetry is garnering millions of views on YouTube, viral attention on Twitter and Instagram, live events are attracting hundreds of people and sales of poetry books are skyrocketing. In times of civil unrest and societal crisis, poets and writers are often at the forefront of resistance. We invite poets and practitioners to assess the current climate of UK live literature and performance poetry, and where the future of the art form may be going. Includes audience Q&A.
