Naissance Plus Al Swainger at Bristol Music Club
Ticket price £16 advance or on the door

A gig on Friday 6th March. The event starts at 19:30.

Naissance, Jon Lloyd and John Law, have been mesmerising audiences across Europe with their ambient minimalist jazz, for the last two years, playing in concert halls, churches, cathedrals and palaces (yes!). For this concert at Bristol Music Club they will be augmented by the perfect electric bassist: Al Swainger. Al plays music firmly in the area of Ambient, Minimalism and textures. Through his long-running Pointless Beauty project he explores balance and emotional navigation through sound, often bringing acoustic and electronic sources into dialogue to reshape and support one another. Alongside ensemble and solo work, he has collaborated widely in improvised and interdisciplinary settings, including live performance with visual artist Naomi Hart and free-movement specialist Jessica Lerner, developing a quiet, textural approach rooted in presence, patience and interaction. It's going to be a perfect fit with Naissance! The PPianissimo Series is supported by Arts Council England and All Instruments, Westbury
