The Laws of Motion at Bristol Music Club
£13 full price

A gig on Sunday 13th July. The event starts at 12:00.

The London-based, internationally renowned guitarist/composer Ant Law, described as “scarily proficient” by Jazzwise magazine and one of the leading new generation of UK jazz and creative musicians, teams up with SW-based, international pianist/composer John Law (no relation!),“one of the UK’s most imaginative and versatile jazz pianists” (International Piano Magazine), for an early afternoon concert at Bristol Music Club: The Laws of (E)Motion.

Presenting a new suite of pieces by John, exploring interweaving lines, pulsing rhythms and subtle harmonies, the duo will be creating chamber music both intricate and simple, exploring textures, colour and space. And all within the dialectic of composed versus freely improvised spontaneity.
Venue: BRISTOL MUSIC CLUB, 76 St Paul's Rd, Clifton, Bristol BS8 1LP
