Jazz Propelled by Two Drummers - we're really pleased to welcome Tony Orrell's powerhouse of a band back to the club. Big Top have been a favourite at the Fringe Jazz since they made their debut back in 2017.

For tonight's performance the band are augmented to a Sextet featuring not only two drummers but also two keyboard masters with the inclusion of Bristol Music Scene legend, the wonderful John Baggott.

John is a regular collaborator, writer and performer with seminal Bristol bands Massive Attack and Portishead and composed and recorded Grammy nominated albums with Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation.

Here's a link to a great review by Tony Benjamin of Big Top's gig at FRINGE JAZZ in 2018 to get you in the mood for the return of this brilliant band.
