We're delighted to welcome back NT Connections, the UKs biggest youth theatre festival. Each year the festival offers a unique opportunity for youth theatres and school theatre groups to stage new plays written for young people by some of theatre's most exciting playwrights.

NT Connections 2017 will involve at least 5,000 talented young people from right across the UK, both on and off stage, and inspire and entertain audiences with plays for and about young people that are current, challenging and resonant.

This year we'll be bringing eight schools and youth theatre groups to the Bristol Old Vic stage to celebrate these great new plays - with all the energy and commitment of our young talent from the South West. We hope you enjoy the festival.
