The 85: An Improv Drop-in Workshop For People Of Colour at Bristol Old Vic
See event details

A event held at Bristol Old Vic on Saturday 15th November. The event starts at 14:00.

Kiota welcomes People Of Colour/People from the Global Majority to join us for an improv workshop centred around games and scene-work. No previous experience of improv necessary, just a willingness to play and try things.

All sessions begin with a grounding, warm up and then structured exercises centred around a skill or theme and are Queer-led. We work in a very embodied and reflective way and these sessions will run monthly.

As well as being a space to play and learn improv skills, they are a solidarity space. The group has been created as a space for those who are racialised in a UK context and can feel othered in predominantly white spaces.

If you are interested in joining these workshops but would like to speak to a facilitator before the workshop you can contact us at [email protected].

Please email in advance if you have any specific Access needs and we'll d our best to accommodate you.

Entry requirements: 18+
