Back at Bristol Old Vic for a sixth year, Heli Laughs are delighted to host an evening of the biggest laughs from some of Bristol and the UK’s best comedians! 100% of proceeds will go to support Great Western Air Ambulance Charity and our lifesaving mission.

About the comedians

Headlining the evening is the fantastic Michelle De Swarte! Recently named one of Variety’s 10 Brits to Watch for 2025, Michelle’s comedy appearances include Live at the Apollo, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and The Last Leg, as well as getting to sit on the big red sofa on the Graham Norton Show!

Michelle is an actor, comedian, presenter and writer with a fantastic sense of humour and we are so excited for her to headline Heli Laughs!

Hosting the evening and keeping everyone laughing is Welsh comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean. A multi-award winning comedian, satirist and writer. You’ll have recently seen her hosting Live at the Apollo and appearing on Have I Got News For You, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, QI and Frankie Boyle's New World Order. We cant wait to welcome her to Heli Laughs!

They will be joined by Huge Davies, combining his confident on stage presence, dark humour, surreal material and his one-of-kind customised keyboard, Huge has quickly risen to become one the most memorable and hilarious acts in the UK. With sell out shows and multiple five-star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe as well as appearances on the Off Menu Podcast, Jonathan Ross Comedy Club and more as well as supporting Phil Wang and Joe Lycett, we cant wait to see what he has in store for us!

Next up is BAFTA winning Michael Odewale, a**** fresh and unfiltered voice known for delivering sharp and beautifully executed content. His debut show #BlackBearsMatter won Best Show at both the 2019 Leicester Comedy Festivals and achieved critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe 2019.

He has since gone on to work on a host of shows including Cunk on Earth (BBC), Death to 2022 (Netflix) and performing on Live at The Apollo (BBC).

We are delighted to have local comedian Burt Williamson joining our line up. He is young new comic from Bristol who is quickly making an impression for himself on the South West comedy circuit. A perpetual man-child who takes himself seriously so you don’t have to, Burt is ever ready to bring his brand of enthusiastic sarcasm to our stage.
