Join poet and musician John Hegley for an interactive creative workshop at Brunel’s SS Great Britain. The session will cover writing, drawing, shading, and possibly singing, paper-folding and gesticulation. Subjects may include, but are not limited to, trees, fish, ships, friendships, ship's armadillos, birds, biscuits and big footsteps. Suitable for those with ages in or around double figures. Includes biscuits for all participants!

Along with a mandolin, John brings to the table experience of performing to the mixed crowds of street entertainment and Glastonbury Festival, as well as in the rarefied atmosphere of the Southbank Centre and on stages in New Zealand, Columbia and Rotherham. (Photo credit: Suzi Corker)
