How many items of clothing can we save from an uncertain future at our 4-hour community mending marathon?

Join us to find out – everyone is welcome.

Guidance, moral support, good chat, tools, materials and refreshments will be included to fuel repairs.

Beginners are very welcome. There will be experienced repairers among us to help, as well as books for inspiration, and everything you need to darn, patch, attach buttons, close split seams or otherwise fix up your clothes. Feel free to bring along your sewing kit if you have one.

We'll be tallying up our repairs to see if we can hit our mending marathon target of 100 mends in 4 hours! So gather your holey clothes, tell your friends, and grab yourself a ticket.

There will be delicious snacks on offer to keep us going throughout the marathon, provided by the wonderful Kate's Kitchen (@kateskitchenbristol).
