See event details

A gig held at Cafe Kino on Friday 20th June. The event starts at 19:00.

Celebrate the summer solstice eve with magical melodic electronica from Loula Yorke and Tudor Acid.

Electro Cafe is thrilled to welcome Loula Yorke back to Bristol 9 months after her jaw dropping set at Machina Bristronica.

Loula Yorke is a composer, improviser and live performer working primarily with modular synthesis. A musical pattern-weaver exploring performance, memory and document.

An Oram Award Winner in 2020, Loula has since released two albums to critical acclaim – Volta on Truxalis, which was The Quietus’ Album of the Week and Electronic Sound‘s #2 Album of the Year, and Speak, thou vast and venerable head on quiet details, which made it into the Top 40 UK Official Album Charts.

Tudor Acid has been releasing his own brand of acid tinged ambient techno for more than ten years. Expect melancholic chords and crunchy beats. His recent albums "Discarded Shadows" and “Emathy for Cyborgs” were featured on bandcamp daily as well as receiving extensive playback on RTE radio in Eire.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
