A gig held at Cafe Kino on Friday 23rd October. The event starts at 19:30.
Honeyglow are back at Cafe Kino for a night of grungy post-punk with support from London’s Dogviolet and Stroud’s Pebble Daisy
- Honeyglow -
Honeyglow is an alt-grunge, five piece born of contradictions. Self-described as “stompy fairy,” the band blend whimsy and a healthy dose of sarcasm, creating music for anyone who has ever felt too much, too quiet, too strange, too angry, or too soft.
- Dogviolet -
Dogviolet fuse post-punk grit, gothic atmosphere and folk-tinged melody into something intriguing and hard to look away from. Inspired by the natural world, botanical imagery is woven through their lyrics exploring social injustice, familial challenges and sapphic desire, set against dark sonic hues that feel both polished and raw.
- Pebble Daisy (solo) -
Inspiration coming from Wolf Alice, The Cure, Beabadoobee, Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine. Featuring intimate confessional lyrics, guitar riff driven songs incorporating shimmering textures of distorted guitar sound, commanding melodies, growly thick bass tone, marching and hard-hitting drums. Driving her songs forward with her unmistakable, captivating, deep, sultry voice and raspy emotive vocal
