MERZ

MERZ at Cafe Kino

A gig held at Cafe Kino on Saturday 26th September. The event starts at 20:00.

For this one-off Bristol show, Merz returns to the city region where his first three albums were written and recorded. This concert will feature solo versions of Merz songs from his six critically acclaimed albums. It coincides with the release of an E.P. of new songs, his first material since 2019.
Merz says: "I chose Bristol for this second live performance after a seven-year hiatus. Living in the Bristol and Bath area for so long contributed significantly to the direction my songwriting and music took. The cities, the landscapes and the collaboration with West Country-based musicians, producers and studio technicians. Besides that, I was born in Dorset - I’m West Country in origin. Can't wait to play once again in the good ambience of the Cafe Kino venue. A great spot with an exemplary ethos."
