produces ambient, piano based, lower-case music. Quiet and intimate, it explores sounds from both acoustic and electronic sources, along with processed field recordings and gathered, ‘found’ sounds. His latest releases, ‘Triptych in Blue’, ’Evenfall’ and ‘Lichtzin’ continue these themes and chart meetings with musicians and collaborators across Europe including the legendary, Hans-Joachim Roedelius, experimental electronic and classical composer, Christopher Chaplin, Dutch ambient guitarist, Anne Chris Bakker and remix work and collaborations with Toby Marks (Banco de Gaia). Andrew’s music is not static though. It drifts. It constantly shifts as it charts new topographies, creating and following maps that are full of change. If you listen carefully you’ll often hear quiet, random glitches or shimmering dissonances which fall by happy accident, in exactly the right place.

Daniel Bennett

is a Bristol based musician and researcher in Human Computer Interaction. Currently he uses complex feedback systems with computer control to create improvisatory noise-based music. Live, he focuses on moment-to-moment structure in a single moving body of sound, aiming for cathartic visceral and psychological effects.
He has written music for theatre and art installation and played guitar in the noise rock band Hunting Lodge. He has recorded solo as Skjølbrot, and is a member of Bang the Bore.
