What's It To You?

What's It To You? at Cafe Kino

A gig held at Cafe Kino on Sunday 22nd November. The event starts at 18:45.

We’re back, live and in the flesh!

Elloro and Urban Resistance to Fascism (URF) are back, but this time with a fully live line up. This star studded cast will cover the basis of Hip Hop, Punk and Hyper Pop, with some healthy cross pollination. The night will run from 18:30-22:00 on 22/11/2026 at Cafe Kino, with all profits going to support The Community of Squatted Prosfygika. The event will follow a PWYC model with a £5 minimum on Headfirst, but with no one turned away OTD due to lack of funds.

The Community of Squatted Prosfygika is a self organised community in Athens, Greece, home to over 400 people spread across 8 historic 20th century housing blocks. The neighbourhood derives its name from the Greek word for “refugee” and has been a safe-haven for displaced peoples since the 1930s. Its residents collectivised in 2012, creating an Assembly and starting work to retake their neighbourhood from the organised crime that had begun to plague it in the few years prior. Since then, through communal ownership of resources and direct democracy, the community has developed 22 self-organised structures such as a bakery serving the surrounding area, social centre, children’s structure and nursery, women’s structure and health structure, which includes housing for visiting relatives of patients at the neighbouring cancer hospital.

The last year has been crucial for the community which fought off government gentrification plans, largely thanks to a long hunger strike by residents Aristotelis Chantzis and Suzon Doppagne. Now it faces renewed threats of eviction. International support is vital to ensure the safety and continuation of the community which is why we are raising funds and consciousness around Prosfygika with What’s It To You.

Line up:

HISSY FIST - a queer, femme and non-binary collective that are here to tear down walls - both sonic and societal. Bringing genre-straddling political punk from Bristol, with heavy noisy riffs, ethereal bog witch harmonies and tribal drumming, their tough and tender offerings are the soundtrack to resistance and community building. Anti-state, anti-fascist, anti-conformist. ‘Strong of thigh, strong of fist and strong of voice’.

Vernacular Spring - hailing from the outskirts of South West London, Vernacular Spring are an Abstract Hip Hop duo. Gripsnstar's experimental production takes listeners on psychedelic trips of self discovery. Whereas, Ki’s bars and occasional production explore the horrors of Capital’s Global Genocide and the indivisible oneness of the God, from a Black and Queer perspective and being informed by rave culture and political organising.

elloro - iridescent, antsy, new Bristol sounds: explosive, grumpy, queer DnB, indebted to hyperpop. MCs, produces and may dance if you’re lucky, showcasing their debut EP.

KeyfromSP - a multi-talented artist from St Pauls, Bristol. His music is rooted in purpose, embodying the soul and spirit of his people through storytelling and hard-hitting performance. Through his music KeyfromSP aims to uplift and educate, sharing his story, his community's story and the experiences that connect us across the diaspora.

West Quntry Fuker - the west country’s representative for lo-fi disco, churns together stoic and relatable lyrics with unforgettable hypnotic arrangements. West Quntry Fuker’s niche nostalgic references and satirical subjects subversively mock contemporary human experience via organic bedroom pop electro clash.

No matter the day, no matter the venue, no matter the format, we’re always:

Anti-Imperialist

Anti-Fascist

Anti-Capitalist

Anti-Hetero-normative Patriarchy

Love and Solidarity!
