Tin Can Charms workshop at Cafe Kino

A event held at Cafe Kino on Sunday 3rd November. The event starts at 14:00.


We’ll be embossing tin cans with images, sigils and words we have designed together to create charms and personal totems with beads and embellishments! We can use fabric and fastenings to make them into brooches, pendants, patches that you can use to add to the pocket altars we’ll be making in a couple of weeks time or have them as a standalone item! This is a space run by a neurodivergent queer and so is a welcome and judgement free space, I believe that accessible arts are important and build confidence, community and let us practice freedom, autonomy and make mistakes in a capitalist world that focuses on outcome and perfectionism and dismisses process! This is my ‘fuck around and find out’ manifesto to subvert these ideas in this space. Enjoying ourselves in a basement together making cool shit!
