Scarab Moon Media presents: Somewhere, at Cafe Kino

Thorjn is a London-based experimental electronic composer and performer. Following the 2025 neo-psychedelic album Through the Crystal Window, their new work ventures further into hypnagogic lo-fi and sound collage with the release of Somewhere. In this improvised performance, Thorjn unites hypnotic guitar loops, degraded field recordings, and raw, animalistic vocalisations, reimagining the albums sonic vocabulary.

[sound collage, guitar-drone, improvisation]

Genie Tempest is a London-based vocalist, producer and performer, fusing extended vocal practices with experimental electronics. Her new 2026 album 'Pulmonics' ventures into a world where idiosyncratic vocal abstraction meets ambient and post-new age aesthetics. She'll be performing a live and improvised rendition of the album.

[glitch-ambient, vocal improvisation, psychedelia]

Thomas Lobban utilises drones, noise, and texture to create minimal, guitar-centric pieces which draw from a range of influences, including non-musical sources such as cinema and philosophy.

[guitar-ambient, drone, shoegaze]

Storm Neech balances extreme sonic intensity, emotion, and the aesthetics of breakdown and decay in a sterile digital world. Performances at Machina Bristronica, QUOB and Strange Brew have earned him praise from figures such as Autechre, Samuel Kerridge, and Kai Whiston.

[experimental electronic, glitch, ambient]
