FOLKETRONIC RELEASE SHOW at Cafe Kino
See event details

A gig held at Cafe Kino on Thursday 12th March. The event starts at 19:30.

The night will start off with the glamorous, Kima Moon. Who has travelled all the way from Jupiter to be here for this show. Her songwriting shows a unique blend of the greats in an otherworldly, authentic kind of way. Next up is the band Interim. They cleverly tread between old and new psychedelic sounds, followed by a dark mysterious vocalist who will have you in a fever-dream state. Hum Drum are our main support. They are somewhat indescribable. Their singer Palo, is fascinating. She has an experimental, bjork esc influence to her vocal style. It’s playful, it’s mesmerising and it WILL leave you Humming and Drumming. Folketronic will be the headline for this event. They twist singer-songwriter into a rippling wall of sound. With heavy influence from experimental bands such as Pink Floyd, Radiohead, The Velvet Underground and so much more. The sound can get evil but it can also be wonderfully pretty. Their release of ‘In The Trees’ will make you feel as if you’re running through the mossy, woodlands away from the likes of mass media.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
