Kig Telynnek at Cafe Kino

A event held at Cafe Kino on Thursday 20th July. The event starts at 19:30.

Tryg Verran, lyrical artist, has been exploring the relationships between lands and languages, people and places. This event, which features lyrical poems and songs written in a creole of the English and Kernewek languages, is a meditation on the extent to which elements of Kernewek may convey different ways of ecological being.

Last year, Tryg walked the coastal path from Plymouth to Lizard Point performing poems and songs every morning at sunrise, this performance is a result of that pilgrimage.

Doors 7.30pm/ Start 8pm (performance approximately 40 minutes)
