"There’re good films, there’re bad films, and then there’s The Abomination. Heavy Pictures continue their winning run of video nasties and no-budget horror with this basement screening of a bonafide Super 8 bloodbath. Televangelist exorcisms, murderous teethed tumours and gallons of ketchup are all present and (in)correct for this absolute face-melter - abysmal DIY cinema at its absolute best."

Heavy Pictures Presents is heading down south for the August feature in the ongoing season of Ultimate DIY Cinema, and we have another backyard gore-to-the-wall gem.
The Abomination was a title only on VHS, popular in the tape trading and fanzine culture. This is a genre-bending, dubbed-over over tripped-out film. This also features one of the coolest practical effects used in a low-budget film.
When a TV Evangelist exorcises a tumour from the body of a loyal worshipper who soon coughs up the growth, it makes its way to her son Cody. taking over and having complete control. But this creature needs to eat by any means. que the carnage and limbs.
Shot in 10 days and lost to VHS, Heavy Pictures Presents invites you to a rare screening of a film that will encourage you to make your own film.
