Heavy Pictures Presents is a new film night dedicated to the obscene, over-the-top, and hard-to-see—spotlighting everything from grindhouse gems to homegrown horror made by fans, for fans.
For our first screening, we’re showing the outrageous Blonde Death—a raw, pure DIY film made by an art collective in 1984. It follows Tammy Lynn Beaverdorf as she heads cross-country with her over-loving father and wicked stepmother, only to spiral into a delirious life of crime with her new-found companions.
"Satiric, subversive, and gleefully enraged, Blonde Death is an essential chapter of queer cinema history—now newly preserved by Bleeding Skull." Bleeding Skull
